How the Fifteen Days Are Usually Spent
The first week is spent in Makkah: arrival, Umrah, then daily prayers at the Haram with one day set aside for Ziyarat around Jabal al-Nour, Mina and Arafat. The transfer to Madinah usually falls around day nine or ten, leaving five to six nights for prayers at Masjid an-Nabawi, Rawdah visits and Ziyarat of Quba, Uhud and Jannat al-Baqi.
Pilgrims often use the additional days to perform repeat Umrah from Masjid Aisha, which a 10-day trip rarely allows comfortably.
