Questions to Ask and What to Check in an Umrah Quotation Before Paying

Mount Arafat near Makkah, a common Ziyarat stop on Umrah packages

Use this checklist before booking so you know exactly what your Umrah package includes and what you will pay.

Short Answer

Before paying, make sure your quotation clearly states the travel dates, duration, hotel standard in each city, room sharing, airline, inclusions, total price, the date the price was given, and the payment and refund terms.

Dates and Duration

Is the departure month or date stated, and how many nights are in Makkah and in Madinah?

Hotels and Rooms

Which hotel standard is quoted, and how many people share each room? These two points affect the price the most.

Flights

Are return air tickets included, and which airline and route are quoted? Ticket prices can change until they are issued.

Inclusions

Check visa assistance, airport transfers, Makkah–Madinah transport and Ziyarat are listed, and ask what is not included.

Price and Validity

Rates can change at any time, so ask how long the quoted price is held and call again for an updated quotation if you book later.

Payment and Refunds

Ask how much advance is needed, when the balance is due, and what happens if you cancel. Read our refund policy before booking.
